Jordan Helter, Partner – Accounting Advisory, is a leader in our Accounting Advisory practice with over 20 years of experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, and complex transaction support. He specializes in guiding life sciences and technology companies through SEC reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and the implementation of accounting policies. Prior to joining Monomoy, Jordan served as a Director in BDO’s assurance practice, supporting organizations ranging from pre-revenue biotech startups to multinational public and private equity-backed companies.
Mike Wyzga, Partner – Decision Support, leads our Decision Support practice and brings more than 15 years of strategic and financial leadership experience across life sciences and investment banking. Having served as CFO of multiple public life sciences companies, Mike offers deep expertise in capital markets, strategic planning, and transaction advisory, helping clients make informed decisions that drive long-term shareholder value.

Jeff Capello is a senior finance executive with over 30 years of experience helping companies create significant value for their shareholders. Jeff started his career in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was an audit partner on a variety of assignments ranging from helping startup companies through the public offering process to helping larger companies with strategic, transaction and operational support projects. Jeff also served as the Chief Financial Officer for a range of publicly held and private equity backed companies (PerkinElmer, Boston Scientific, Ortho Clinical Diagnostic, Beacon Health Options and Biogen) where he developed a strong record of improving the operational and financial health of these organizations. His specific areas of expertise include strategic planning, business development, capital markets, business planning, cost management, productivity improvement, functional leadership, people development and organizational design. Jeff also served on the Board of Directors for several early stage publicly held biotech companies as Audit Committee Chair. Jeff has a Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He also was a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts.
Kyle Peterson is an experienced accounting and financial executive. Prior to joining Monomoy Advisors, Kyle spent over seventeen years at Ernst & Young in roles of increasing responsibility. Kyle finished his career at EY serving as a managing director and the Life Sciences New England Emerging Growth Company Lead, with a focus on start-up, venture backed biotechnology companies and serving these clients through the initial public offering. He has served on a wide range of clients, including start-up corporations, large multi-nationals and publicly traded companies. Kyle has experience in assisting clients through strategic decisions related to headcount, system implementation, structuring the accounting organization, and the implementation of internal controls throughout the Company life-cycle, including establishing appropriate processes and procedures for start-up organizations and scaling operations through public offerings, operating as a public company, and establishing Sarbanes Oxley 404 compliance operations. Kyle has significant public offering experience. Kyle received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and is a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts.
Dave Gaiero is a finance and accounting executive with over 15 years of experience as a finance and business professional following 8 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Dave has held leadership roles in start-ups and global publicly traded organizations. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of Cyteir Therapeutics. As Cyteir’s first internal finance hire, Dave rapidly built a fully functioning public company finance team with highly qualified staff and effective systems and processes, and he helped execute a $150 million IPO following an $80 million private crossover round. He has significant experience with financial operations, Sarbanes-Oxley implementation, systems implementation, SEC reporting, and strategic planning and execution. Dave received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and is a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts.
