- Assisted a public life sciences company with developing an investment policy and related disclosures for quarterly reporting, and disclosures for significant transactions from the period.
- Assisted a pharmaceutical company with SAP implementation procedures for vendor master data, fixed assets, and leases, while reducing month-end close by 4 business days.
- Supported several multinational biotech companies in preparing for an IPO by accelerating their monthly close processes, improving consolidation, management reporting, and strengthening internal controls.
- Designed a long-range plan to assess capital needs and pipeline strategy for a preclinical life sciences company. Developed fundraising strategy for capital raise and supporting investor materials.
- Supported the reverse due diligence for an acquisition of a life sciences services company, including an assessment of their historical financials, forecasts, and quality of earnings.
We are excited to announce the addition of Michael Wyzga to lead our Decision Support Practice. He joins us with over 15 years of experience in corporate finance, capital markets, business development, and financial planning and analysis. Decision Support is the strategic arm of Monomoy, offering: Executive suite advisory, pipeline prioritization, scenario-driven plans, fundraising support, commercial finance, and investor/board presentations.
In addition, we continue to actively support several industry and community events. For example, we hosted 10 of our clients and partners at the Massachusetts Conference for Women, where over 11,000 women leaders in business shared leadership insights and supported professional growth. We enjoyed socializing and networking within our community and hope to host more of our network at future events.
Finally, we continue to support the community in which we live and operate, contributing Christmas gifts to 30 local families. This initiative was done in coordination with Life Science Cares and represents our commitment to giving back to those in need.
