We are happy to announce that Dave Gaiero joined Monomoy Advisors as a partner focused on our Interim Finance practice. Dave brings over 20 years of experience as a finance and business professional. Dave has held leadership roles in start-ups and global publicly traded organizations including most recently as the CFO of a publicly traded company where he helped execute an initial public offering.
Here are some of the ways the Monomoy team has helped our clients recently –
- Completed a technical accounting analysis regarding a potential misstatement impacting four years of results which concluded that no restatement was required and ensured the 10Q was filed timely.
- Led an assessment of ERP systems to improve a company’s accounting infrastructure in preparation for a potential IPO which resulted in the system selection and implementation initiation.
- Developed a Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program for a recently listed public company including optimizing the internal control environment, completing the controls documentation and developing testing plans.
- Provided decision support services to identify and assess out-licensing programs via strategic partnerships to raise nondilutive financing.
- Initiated company start-up procedures including system assessment and selection, treasury operations, and accounting and finance functions.
- Implemented an equity management system at several early-stage companies.
- Delivered decision support services to a company to develop and support a long-term planning model and process.
- Filled the CFO role for a publicly traded company whose CFO announced his retirement.
