As we enter the fourth quarter, we remain focused on delivering for clients across all our lines of business to help them achieve their objectives for the year.
Here are some of the ways Monomoy has helped our clients recently:
- Supported multiple acquisitions, including accounting advisory to acquisitive public companies on technical accounting, SEC reporting, and required disclosures.
- Provided accounting advisory support to a public electronics manufacturer serving defense prime contractors, evaluating prior-period disclosure errors and their impact on controls.
- Assisted a public biotech company through a reverse merger, providing project management, drafting sections of the S-4, and managing the audit timeline.
- Helped an early-stage company develop a multi-scenario long-range plan for a Series A financing, and advised the CEO on investor communications, strategy, and outreach.
- Assisted a pre-IPO company with a confidential S-1 filing, remediating issues from a new NetSuite implementation, and managing the public company audit.
- Supported a clinical-stage therapeutics company by strengthening controls over cash disbursements, tightening payment review and approval workflows, and improving financial governance.
- Performed due diligence on a life science services company, including analysis of historical financials, assessment of the revenue forecast, and evaluation of overall financial infrastructure.
- Worked with the board of a private diagnostic company on maximizing shareholder value, including evaluating various strategic alternatives and helping to monitor critical action items.
We have been active lately in several networking initiatives to broaden our reach into the market, including hosting a networking event for Boston-area controllers.
